A big crew of us came up from Houston to see this show. Liberty Lunch was packed. I agree the crowd was testing Ian's patience that night. A buddy of mine jumped off the top speakers. I remember Ian yeller "don't jump from there". I got a video of the show that aired on Austin television.
At times, Ian seems to have quite a hard time putting up with some unwieldy elements in the audience on this particular evening. In spite of that, both the recording and performance are ACE! (note that Break-In is cut short)

Please Note: Available recordings have been mastered to correct for volume shifts, drop outs, etc. but some sonic anomalies will still exist, especially early in the set when the mix is being settled. The band has rated each show for sound quality and set the general price of a download at $5 per show. If you have a different price in mind feel free to utilize the alternative pricing option.
Good show. The band opened for Bad Mother Goose and immediately bring up the goofiness of the Dallas show the night before. For some weird reason there is audio from the 5/4/1990 Dallas show playing over Reclamation at the beginning of this show. No idea if that was played over the PA or if my file download is janky or what. I used to go to Liberty Lunch a lot in the mid-late 90s. I miss that club more than any other of the closed Austin places except maybe Emo's downtown. Pretty typical Repeater era setlist, but there are a few previews from SDoN thrown in for good measure. There are charms to be had in each of the 1990 shows from Texas. One poor soul lost his glasses, "..they're horn-rimmed" and the band has an impromptu last and found session. 14 songs well played, no encore. Good sound quality.
