Pleasant show.
Naked Guy's life didn't turn out so well.

This was my last day of High School. 3 of us got our parents to write us Dr. notes so one guys older brother could pick us all up just outside the school to drive over to Berkeley. It was an awesome show. Perfect Weather.
We had a blast and went skating around Berkeley afterwards. Good times!
I too remember the naked guy. He crowd surfed!!
I video taped the show, or at least part of it. I wonder if it still exists?

In the early 1990s when this show happened, there was a full-time student at UC Berkeley who chose to attend his classes without any clothes on. (See Steve's reference above.) He became a political flashpoint for a university with such a strong free-speech history, and his right to do this was endlessly debated by student and faculty vis a vis the rights of other students to attend classes without unnecessary distraction. Anyway, I attended this show, and the Naked Guy, as he was referred to, stood in front of me for most of it. It is probably more memorable for me for that reason than for any other, which of course is nothing against the band. The aerial shot above the plaza is incredible, by the way. Well done to whoever took is.

This recording only offers a short set (only 13 songs played) but I truly enjoyed listening to this as it is a solid performance with a very decent sound quality. Much obliged.
On a more general note, it never ceases to amaze me how people keep shouting song titles during live shows, repeatedly, obsessively, and sometimes even when the song actually being played is still in its final notes. I am sure my patience would wear thin because of it. ..

So great. Everyone descended from all corners as word spread that Fugazi was going to play. There was a naked guy in the crowd. Everyone was grateful to Fugazi for coming down and doing this. It was a smiley day.
