I was there, a bunch of Montrealers drove up for this gig. My biggest memory is that although this was before the release of Red Medicine, it was at this gig that I saw/heard Joe sing By You.

Was at that show and have zero recollection of unwound getting booed off stage. In fact, I recall them kind of killing it, and that's why I had to wait in a line to buy a copy of their first full length directly from justin trosper before Fugazi went up.

I think this was supposed to be downstairs at 242 but the turn-out was too big.

Unwound was booed off the stage. So was Karate. My older brother drove us from Brockville Ontario through upstate NY to go. It was awesome.

Being Canadian I was taken back by how many real punk rock fans were there, and how fucking rowdy they were. Amazing for me when I was 15.
