This is sad for me since this was the last time I ever saw Fugazi. However, on a positive note, I brought my 3 1/2 year old son to this show. It was his first concert as a true music appreciating human being. He was very excited. He sat in the back with a giant pair of headphones. Taking him to Fugazi for his first concert was definitely an intentional move. I remember being a teenager and wishing I had parents that were cool enough to bring me to a Black Sabbath concert for my first concert experience, back in 1974, when I was his age. Now it's 2013, my son is 16, he's a drummer and we rock out to Fugazi songs (and Sabbath) in our basement jam room. I think he has a little Brendan Canty ingrained into his musical memories from this concert (he says he remembers attending). I'm just happy that he'll be able to call Fugazi his show.
