"We played here 10 years ago, was anyone at that show? We have really strong memories of that gig, for a bunch of reasons.
This was before your mosquito erradication program began, our memory is running back from this pizza place, fucking feeling like we were in a horror movie...
... but the best memory of all was the band that opened for us that night, a band called Tankhog, that's right, they were unbelievable, we talk about them all the time,
because the singer showed up with like broken ribs and had his ribs taped up, and he was a small guy, and then the bass player was like this gigantic Saskatch dude, and they were like totally over the top, one of the best bands we've ever had open for us, really really amazing, it was one of those groups that disappeared of the radar, but they did something that was so important that it sticks in your memory."
