Fugazi toured the state of Washington seven times over the years, yet played the prosperous city of Bellevue (French for “beautiful view”) across Lake Washington from Seattle only once, in May 1993.
The recording presented here documents this particular event in time for posterity and can be considered quite memorable by any standards.
The sound quality of the recording is simply outstanding, the vocals and instrumentation coming off evenly balanced, crisp and clear.
The performance is pretty much top shelf and flawless overall, with the exception of the occasional wrong chord or the guitars cutting out shortly for some unknown reason towards the end of Great Cop.
It showcases a total of 19 songs taken from various recordings including the 7 Songs or S/T EP (4), the Margin Walker EP (2), Repeater album (3), Steady Diet of Nothing (3), as well as a generous serving of fresh material on the eve of the In on the Kill Taker release (7 live cuts).
By and large, the focus is on all things music, with in-between song chatter limited to praise for (the people putting up the show at) the venue, some low-stage trouble-shooting or someone throwing shoes at the soundboard.
Recommended.
This show is excellent. Merchandise is the only song that is performed below the band's average standard in my humble opinion.

Please Note: Available recordings have been mastered to correct for volume shifts, drop outs, etc. but some sonic anomalies will still exist, especially early in the set when the mix is being settled. The band has rated each show for sound quality and set the general price of a download at $5 per show. If you have a different price in mind feel free to utilize the alternative pricing option.
I was one geezer standing in line on a rainy night in the forest with a bunch of kids. Thanks for letting me find out what I've forgotten.
