Hottest show I've ever been to. Must have been 125 degrees inside.
Only half the show?
This remains one of my favorite shows of all time. I remember it well. The club - The Real Flash Gordon's - was incredibly hot. I was 19 years old, and it was my first real club show. Amazing. Repeater remains my favorite Fugazi record. I would love to hear this recording...By the way, I think Flash's is now a Walgreens. Ironic? Probably not anymore than paying $500 for the live catalog, but if I could - I would gladly pay to hear this concert...

Sleazy Jesus were awful-Glad that is the only time I saw them. For some reason I think The Hostile Amish may have been on the bill too- although I went to a ton of shows during that era, so I could be wrong. Either way these releases are a great idea- looking forward to this being available and reliving some of my youth!
Also may know someone with pics- will direct them this way if so.
hello frank. thanks for the clarification on the opener's name. the fix is in. - FLS
Amazing gig, the opener was 'Sleazy Jesus and the Splatter Pigs'. I don't recall if a second opener played.

Please Note: Available recordings have been mastered to correct for volume shifts, drop outs, etc. but some sonic anomalies will still exist, especially early in the set when the mix is being settled. The band has rated each show for sound quality and set the general price of a download at $5 per show. If you have a different price in mind feel free to utilize the alternative pricing option.
I second that this was the hottest show ever. I ended up standing on a table because there was an air conditioning vent above it. They just kept letting people into that club. The Splatter Pigs were pretty much a joke band, and really a pretty terrible fit for an opener. I think that Flash's was a metal club, and that was the only show I ever saw there. I always think about the club's announcer and how he mangled the pronunciation of Fugazi in a "metal" voice. Very funny. Oh my god. So so hot in there!
