Very good sound quality as advertised. Incendiary show, as expected. I bought this for old time's sake, as I fondly recall this show - drove down from Ames on a typically freezing November night, pretty sure I was the only assistant professor of Agronomy in the crowd that night. I missed the previous show in Ames 3 years earlier because it was sold out when I got there. This time, with one of my undergrad employees in tow, we showed up a couple hours early to be sure to get tickets, and I worked on lectures at the coffee shop across the street. The band also ended up there before the show, this was very exciting for my friend who was recently off the farm to see a band in person. If you live in the middle of Iowa, a visit from Fugazi is as good as it will ever get. Anyway, this was a great show; we both came out sweating and steaming into the cold winter night. Just about resulting in pneumonia, but it was worth it. Thanks to the band for spending all those years touring to out of the way places and playing 5 dollar shows.

Please Note: Available recordings have been mastered to correct for volume shifts, drop outs, etc. but some sonic anomalies will still exist, especially early in the set when the mix is being settled. The band has rated each show for sound quality and set the general price of a download at $5 per show. If you have a different price in mind feel free to utilize the alternative pricing option.
Fugazi AND At The Drive-In fitting the same bill!! I am sure this must have been a killer show. Lucky people.
This is a solid recording, even though it sounds off for some reason. I can not really put my finger on it, but I'd say it lacks bass or low sounds in general. Because of this, the recording misses some depth (note that a lot of chit-chat can be picked up as well, which can be a bit annoying during some song performances).
Other than that, the band delivered on this particular night and the good people attending the concert certainly seemed into it.
Some highlights in my opinion include Target, Closed Captioned into Recap Modotti, Burning, Public Witness Program, Arpeggiator, No Surprise and Do You Like Me.
