a great fun sunny day in Olympia and I believe the International Pop Overthrow Festival(?) being put on by K records was happening all over and the streets were alive many youngsters, oddballs and self identified color haired punkers. The line to get into the theater for this matinee show wrapped around the building and soon sold out, so I just hung out outside, and by the lake with numerous others and other than some VHS bootleg I once saw, other than hearing the noise coming out the doors, this is prolly nxt best thing to being there...Thx! That week a local band from nearby Aberdeen that was familiar to the area was releasing its major label debut...and the underground music scene would never quite be the same...

Please Note: Available recordings have been mastered to correct for volume shifts, drop outs, etc. but some sonic anomalies will still exist, especially early in the set when the mix is being settled. The band has rated each show for sound quality and set the general price of a download at $5 per show. If you have a different price in mind feel free to utilize the alternative pricing option.
I was there, there were a lot of people from California there. Some from the Skateboarding industry like Santa Cruz. There was a guy in the audience that we met outside and he was a photographer, cameraman of some sort. He had a camera that he accidentally taped over the viewfinder. So when he was in the audience, he was filming blind in the audience. There was a point in the concert where the singer forgot the lyrics. And he asked the audience and someone called out the line, he then thanked him and called himself an effing idiot. Is that in the recording? I saw the cameraman in an issue of a skateboard magazine doing a frontside on a mini ramp. So the footage is out there somewhere.
