I'm going to guess that most of the encore wasn't recorded.

Please Note: Available recordings have been mastered to correct for volume shifts, drop outs, etc. but some sonic anomalies will still exist, especially early in the set when the mix is being settled. The band has rated each show for sound quality and set the general price of a download at $5 per show. If you have a different price in mind feel free to utilize the alternative pricing option.

The third and last time Fugazi would perform in the city of Osaka, and the second time the show took place at Sun Hall.
I reckon this recording would have been an absolute favorite and highlight in my book had it not been incomplete. A significant part of Glueman, and with it possibly part of a more elaborate encore altogether is missing, which is absolutely gutting, since the band is pushing the envelope sonically with this one (note that you still get 5+ minutes of brilliance).
Still, the interplay on the available songs is phenomenal, and the audio quality pretty much impeccable which makes it well worth checking out.
The set list includes a rare Guilford Fall instrumental (6 are currently listed to have been recorded), a rare live rendering of Glueman in 1996 (5 are listed) as well as the only performance of Runaway Return in Japan in 1996.
Both Birthday Pony and No Surprise are staples of this Japanese leg of the 1996 tour (played at 7 out of 9 shows).
Sweet and Low to close out the set (again) definitely is another highlight and gets drawn out, featuring some nice guitar feedback.
The recording documents a short set of just 16 songs but, as mentioned, is incomplete.
