Black's Records blx001 Andrew Black Original Drum Breaks

Independently created by DC area drummer Andrew Black (Title Tracks/Georgie James) to be utilized as a production tool for dj's and producers, Black's Records 001 has already found its way into the hands and collections of dj's like Questlove and Kool DJ Red Alert. Thanks to friends in NY's crate-digging Lost and Found Crew, the record has also found a home on nightclub dance floors tucked into dj sets of old soul, r&b, and break records. The record's first track, entitled "57," even made it to the turntables at a weekly Manhattan party called OPEN where Q-Tip picked up a mic and toasted around the room over the break record.
