Welcome To Our New Website!

We have been promising a new website for some time and we are pleased to finally be able to unveil what we have been working on -- however, this site is by no means complete and will evolve over time as we continue to add content and make adjustments to some of the features.
The section that has perhaps transformed the most is our store, found under Stuff We Sell -- where you will notice a new layout and a unique navigation which should make it easier to browse through the hundreds of Dischord and Washington DC area releases that we carry. We have also added a lot more information about our bands and this label; including bios, streaming mp3s, news, tour dates, etc. Overall we have tried to balance all this information with easy and clear access to the music.
To make purchases on the site you will now be asked to create a login account, which offers more identity protection for you and more fraud protection for us. Account holders will also be able to tap into our system to check the status or their orders.
Jerrod Blavos, from indierockmedia, and Pau Santesmasses designed and built this site and their vision and hard work has enabled us to expand our capabilities while perfectly maintaining our particular aesthetic. Thanks also to the Bills (Colgrove and Barbot) and Dug Birdzell who created our original website and whose basic design concepts have been brought forward to this site. And a final thank you to Jay Gordon and Bill Dolan at Datapipe for holding our hands through the technical side of this process.
So, browse, enjoy and please pardon any bumps along the way as we get things up and running! If you experience any problems or notice any defects in the site please let us know about it, call us at 703-351-7507, or write at add_hider('dischord', 'Dischord Info',"dischord.com"), we can use the extra eyes!
